The Planning Board meets the

first Tuesday  of each month only, unless announced otherwise.

   From 7:00pm to 9:00 pm.  at the Searsmont Town Office

  In accordance with 1 MRSA §401, the public has a right to be present at any Planning Board meetings at which there is a majority of members present, but it does not guarantee the public a right to speak.

MARK YOUR CALENDERS:   UPCOMING SPECIAL TOWN MEETINGS AND EVENTS

The Planning Board would like to announce that in conjunction with the Comprehensive Committee, it is holding a community forum on the upcoming Comprehensive Plan changes for 2012. This event will be  a Potluck Brunch on January 22, 2011  at 11:00am in the Community building.

Bring a friend, bring a neighbor! and don't forget to bring a dish if you wish!

FEBRUARY 7, 2012: Town office: at 7:30pm, The Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing to discuss the changes in our Land Use Ordinances to Section 1000-subdivisions & Mobile Home Parks. These changes will be presented to the town to vote upon in 2012.
