Planning Board Minutes

November 6, 2007

1. Call to Order: 7:00 p.m.

2. Attendance: Chair: George Sprowl, Jack Degraff, Peter Jolliffe, David Marceau, Steve Porter, and Wayne Thomas.

3. Applications and Requests: None were officially on the agenda; however Stuart Smith asked the Board if he could show them a sketch of a subdivision he is proposing for Aldus Shores Campground on Aldus Shores Road. No official decisions were made related to the application. David Marceau explained to the Board that he is working with the applicant to make the subdivision to the Board so he will need to excuse himself from the Board for this application.

4. Minutes: Reviewed October 16, 2007 minutes and a motion was made, seconded and unanimously passed to approve the minutes.

5. Communications: Bruce Brierly said that Steve Page and Karen Withee will be coming to the November 20, 2007 meeting. Stacy Benjamin said that if we have a comp plan proposal we need to get it to the office of the State Planning by September 20, 2008. She also said that the current 1998 comp plan will become invalid in 2012. She explained that the most important thing is to have the comp plan and zoning ordinance in conformance.
