Planning Board Minutes

July 1, 2008

1. Call to Order: 7:00pm

2. Attendance: Chair: George Sprowl, Jack Degraff, Peter Jolliffe, and Andrea Walker.

3. Applications and requests: None

4. Minutes: Review of June 17, 2008 minutes. Passed over until next meeting.

5. Communications: None

6. Old Business:

Continuation of examining the town warrants from 2005 and on up to present was finalized. Changes from the town Warrants that passed at town vote must be made in the Town Land Use Ordinances, with the date and sections in which changes were made.

A motion made, seconded and passed unanimously to have a $100.00 fee for Change of Use, this will be changed and posted in the Town Land Use Ordinances.

The need for a definition of a foot print was discussed as well as the Home Occupation sections 704.8, 800, 411.1 were reviewed for ways to simplify it. One idea is to add the stipulation in section 704.8 that only four cars a week should be allowed for it to qualify as a home occupation. As it is, it does not state a time period for servicing cars.
