Planning Board Minutes

January 20, 2009

1. Call to Order: 7:00pm

2 Attendance: Chair: George Sprowl, Vice Chair: Paul Leeper, Dave Marceau, and Peter Jolliffe .

3. Minutes: Review of January 6 minutes Motion made, seconded and passed unanimously to accept with

minor changes..

4. Applications and requests: Walter Lamont Jr.- of 123 Woodsman Mill Rd. Searsmont, came before the Board with the following proposal;

Subdivision proposal of Ira Packard’s Riverside Farm Map 3 lot 1 is to convey the Packard residence with approximately 3 acres. The Farmhouse and buildings will be sold with 500’ frontage on RTE 131 and with 350 feet of St. Georges River frontage. Pre-application was accepted with the following stipulations:

Motion made, seconded and passed unanimously to have USGS 1:2400 topo to lay over the plan for the next meeting.

Motion made, seconded and passed unanimously to have the final plan meet the 1’to 100 scale, overlay, and a survey stamp on it with it enlarged to view better.

Motion made, seconded and passed unanimously to waive site plan walk as it appears to have no issues based on Boards knowledge of land.

Ÿ A Surveyed GSP map and sketch with contour lines needs to be presented at next meeting.

5. Communications:

Paul will send new text of our Ordinance to Lee, George, and the selectmen.

6. Mapping committee: Paul, Peter, and Dave of the mapping committee reported back on their mapping progress of Shoreland Zoning updates.

7. Old Business:

Review new State Shoreland zoning took place.

8. New Business: Review of Warrant language took place
