Planning Board Minutes

February 19, 2008

1. Call to Order 7:00 p.m.

2. Attendance: Vice Chair: Paul Leeper. Peter Jolliffe, Jack Degraff, Steve Porter.

3. Applications and requests: None

4. Minutes: review of 1/15 and 1/8. Motion made to accept minutes from January 8,

2008 as is and to accept January 15, 2008 with minor corrections, passed.

5. Communications: None

6. Sub-committee: None

7. Old Business:

Paul informed the Planning Board that the State of Maine has postponed the mandated Shoreland Update for up to one year. It will be due in August of 2008. They postponed it due to the needed updates to the Shoreland Zoning Map. Paul has the new state verbiage and has compared it to ours. He will bring this information in and hold discussions on the changes and what it will mean to Searsmont.
