Planning Board Minutes

February 17, 2009

1. Call to Order: 7:00pm

2 Attendance: Chair: George Sprowl, Vice Chair: Paul Leeper, Dave Marceau, Jack Degraff, Peter Jolliffe and Steve Porter.

3. Minutes: Review of Feb 3, 2009 minutes. Motion made, seconded and passed unanimously to accept with minor changes.

4. Applications and requests: Walter Lamont Jr- Subdivision proposal-Third review of his application for a subdivision of Ira Packard's Riverside Farm located on Rt 131 in Searsmont: Map 32 Lot 1.

Walter Lamont presented the Board with

1 A final map plan and milar that included lot number of the proposed project with all abutters names on it.

2.A letter from the well driller confirming that water/well on the property was present.

3.Had all receipts confirming that all land abutters had been informed of the minor subdivision.

4. Had the accurate Shoreland Zoning of the proposed land division drawn to scale on the the final copy of the map.

Having met the above critia, and the standards of Land Use Ordinances for a subdivision, a motion to approve his application was made, seconded, and passed unnanimously.

5. Communications:

Paul sent the new text of our Ordinance to Lee Woodward, George Sprowl, and to the selectmen.

6. Mapping committee: Paul, Peter, and Dave of the mapping committee reported back on their mapping progress. They had a completed map with the topographic from Maine GIS office and updated shorland zoning on it for the town information meeting that was held downstairs in the basement at 7:00pm.

7. Old Business: Review of the new Shoreland Zoning took place.

9. Adjournment: Motion made, seconded and passed unaimously to adjourn at 9:00pm
