Planning Board Minutes

December 4, 2007

1. Call to Order: 7:00 pm

2. Attendance: Chair: George Sprowl. Vice Chair: Paul Leeper, Peter

Jolliffe, David Marceau, Steve Porter, Wayne Thomas.

3. Applications and request: Stuart Smith met with the Planning Board to review his pre-application for a subdivision for Aldus Shores Campground. It met all application submissions and he will return to continue the application process on December 18, 2007. There will be a site walk with the Planning Board, open to the public, for December 20, 2007 at 8a.m. at Aldus Campground. David Marceau abstained from this application process and will continue to abstain from any voting on Stuart Smith’s regarding the subdivision.

4. Minutes: review of November 20, 2007, passed over until next meeting

5. Communications: Public notice was posted and printed in the Republican Journal

Stating the time and date of the Aldus Shores site walk.

6. Old Business: Paul will have the State Shoreland Zoning definitions and new wording,

For Review, for our ordinance. Peter will map out streams and Shoreland

Zoning for Searsmont and have that available also by next town meeting.
