Planning Board Minutes

August 5, 2008

1. Call to Order: 7:00 pm

2. Attendance: Chair: George Sprowl, Vice Chair: Paul Leeper, Andrea Walker, Dave Marceau, Peter Jolliffe, Jack Degraff, and Steve Porter.

3. Applications and Requests: None

4. Minutes: Motion made, seconded and passed to accept July 1, 2008 and July 15, 2008

minutes with minor changes.

5. Communications: None

6. Old business:

Discussions took place on how to clarify and simplify the Ordinances. The Planning Board reviewed the States Model application (appendix D) for a subdivision and a Motion was made, seconded and passed to accept it for the town of Searsmont. This new application will be posted online and available on the Town of Searsmonts web page. To be more precise in the language on the permit fees, the Planning Board made a

Motion, seconded and passed unanimously to change the wording of Appendix E-Fee Schedule from, square ft. to square ft. floor area.
