Planning Board Minutes

April 21, 2009

 

1. Call to Order: 7:00pm

 

2. Attendance: Chair: Paul Leeper, Vice Chair: Dave Marceau, Andrea Walker, Jack Degraff, Bonita Johnson, Tom Andrews, Mark Tibbetts.

 

3. Minutes: Motion made, seconded and passed unanimously y6o accept April 7, 2009 minutes.

 

4. Applications and requests: Christine Fiqueiredo of Lot 37, Fire Rd 77 Levensellar Pond came before the board for a building permit on existing structure(s).

Motion made, seconded and passed with the following stipulations having been met first:

Ÿ         No other waste water/grey water will be added. And no sinks in any of the buildings are allowed.

Ÿ        Allowed to use the 30% expansion rule.

Ÿ        The board needs to have a drawing of the entire site plan for the proposed structure(s). And

Ÿ        Distance from the water setback for the outhouse must be presented on the site plan drawing.

 

5. Communications: Tom Andrews, Mark Tibbetts, Nancy Robbins, Bonita Johnson and Andrea Walker have signed up for the MMA Workshop being held on November 19, 2009.

 

6. Old Business: Introduction to Planning Board Members of the Land Use and Comprehensive Plan of Searsmont.

 

 7. New Business: The Comprehensive Plan needs to be updated. The town has opted to do the Comprehensive plan under the new rules and will have a sub- committee to help with this by the end of 2009.

 Motion made, seconded and passed to select a three (3) PERSON Comprehensive Plan committee. Steve Paige and Karen Withee were recommended.
