Planning Board Minutes

April 17, 2007

1. Call to Order: 7:00p.m.

2. Attendance: Chair: George Sprowl, Jack Degraff, Dave Marceau, and

Wayne Thomas.

3. Review of Applications and Requests: None

4. Minutes: Review of April 3, 2007 minutes.

5. Communication:

Ÿ George Sprowl and Bruce Brierley discussed hiring Eric Gallant from the Mid-

Coast planning Committee and on forming a sub-committee to help with

updating Searsmonts’ Comprehensive Plan.

6. Old Business:

Ÿ Bruce Brierley, Town Selectmen, researched the availability of funding for

hiring Eric Gallant from the Mid-Coast Planning Commission and reported

there to be sufficient funds available.

Ÿ Bruce will present the Planning Board the Treasures Report to them so that they may follow the availability of finances.

Ÿ Discussions took place on reviewing of the five zoning areas. With an emphasis

on Shoreland Zoning.
